I'd like to take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Elizabeth and probably picked up my first camera in 1998. While it didn't become the thought of a profession until probably close to 10 years later, I have always enjoyed taking pictures. I think I received my first DSLR in the early 2000's and shot semiprofessionally while working other jobs (mostly as a show horse groom). In 2017 a friend reached out and wanted to start a photography business with me, and in 2018 Artistic Equine Studios was born. I have loved horses since childhood and started ownership at 13. I have been involved in the horse world for the better part of about 34 years, spending nearly 15 of those as a professional show groom. I have since followed photography as my profession and now work with several different show photographers in California in addition to my personal business.
